About Us

Hornbeams is home to Alison Crawley and her family and she is never more happy than when she is greeting guests and describing this beautiful rural location.

As a keen gardener, she has created a stunning landscape garden that complements the natural beauty of the Kent downs and the surrounding area.

There is also home grown produce for the breakfast table in the summer.

Hornbeams is ideal for all rural pursuits including walking, cycling, riding or for the less athletic, a wide range of pubs and restaurants in the unspoilt villages that proliferate in this area.

Nature reserves, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, good beaches, theatres, shopping and world class sporting events can all be found in this incredibly diverse corner of England.

Breakfast can be taken on the patio when the weather allows and for other times there is a very comfortable dining room.

Alison prides herself on giving special attention to all of her guests and likes to discuss their needs and give advice on the facilities to ensure that everything is suitable before accepting a booking.
